🌳 Bega Road Closure: Tree Trimming on Jacksonia Grove

Bega residents are advised of upcoming traffic changes as local contractors prepare to undertake tree pruning along the Bega River trail and Jacksonia Grove (Bridge Street) this Thursday.

The Bega Valley Shire Council has announced a full road closure for Jacksonia Grove (Bridge Street) will be in effect between 6am and 5pm on the day of the works.

During this period, there will be no thoroughfare available between the Old Racecourse and Auckland Street, impacting access via both Jacksonia Grove and the Bega River trail. Additionally, on-street parking in the affected area will be unavailable.

Motorists and pedestrians are encouraged to plan ahead. Access to the Bega River carpark via Auckland Street will remain open, and the Old Bega Racecourse will be accessible through East Street.

Drivers are advised to allow extra travel time, observe all signage, and consider alternative routes to minimise disruption.
