Motorists travelling through Eastern Creek are advised to exercise caution due to a road hazard on the M4 Motorway westbound. The incident, involving debris described as "straps", has occurred just past the M7 Motorway intersection.

As a result of the hazard, two lanes (Lane 2 and Lane 3) on the M4 westbound are currently affected. While four lanes are typically available, drivers should be prepared for changed traffic conditions and reduced capacity.

Transport for NSW is on site managing the situation. A reduced speed limit of 60km/h has been implemented in the affected area to ensure safety. Drivers are strongly urged to reduce their speed and exercise extreme caution when navigating this section of the M4 Motorway through Eastern Creek.
