🚨 Two Bourke Residents Face Charges After Drug Investigation

Two individuals have been charged following a police investigation into the alleged supply of prohibited drugs in the Bourke area.

Strike Force Hargen was established in April 2025 by officers from the Central North Police District to investigate drug supply within the community.

On Tuesday, June 3rd, a search warrant was executed at a residence on Wortumertie Street, Bourke. During the search, police seized heroin, cash, cannabis, and various drug paraphernalia.

A 46-year-old man and a 59-year-old woman have both been issued a Court Attendance Notice for possession of a prohibited drug. They are scheduled to appear at Bourke Local Court on Thursday, August 7th, 2025.
