📅 Bankstown to Lidcombe Overnight Train Service Changes

Bankstown residents relying on public transport should be aware of upcoming changes to train services between Bankstown and Lidcombe. Transport for NSW has announced that buses will replace trains nightly on Wednesday, August 20, and Thursday, August 21.

These scheduled disruptions are necessary to allow for essential maintenance work on the rail lines. Services will be affected from 9:40 PM each night until 1:30 AM the following morning.

Commuters travelling to or from Bankstown during these times are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and allow for additional travel time. Replacement bus services will operate to ensure passengers can still reach their destinations, though journey times may be extended.
