🚆 Major Gosford Train Disruptions Planned July 18-20
A teenager has been charged with a staggering 26 property-related offences following an extensive investigation by local police in Gosford.
Officers from the Brisbane Water Police District Proactive Crime Team launched an inquiry in April 2025 into numerous reports of aggravated break and enter, as well as stolen motor vehicle incidents across the Brisbane Water area.
Following persistent inquiries, police arrested a 16-year-old boy at Gosford Police Station on Monday, June 30, 2025, at approximately 10:00 AM.
The teen faces a total of 26 charges, including five counts of aggravated break and enter with a serious indictable offence, eight counts of taking and driving conveyance, four counts of committing a Section 154 offence and disseminating information (post and boast), seven counts of stealing a motor vehicle, and two counts of unlicensed driving.
He was refused bail during his appearance before a children's court on Monday, June 30, 2025. The teenager is now scheduled to reappear before a children's court on Friday, August 15, 2025. Investigations under Operation Soteria are ongoing.
