The Minister for Gaming and Racing, David Harris, is set to bring the NSW Government's vibrancy reforms directly to Gosford, hosting a significant industry forum on the Central Coast.
The Hospitality and Racing Regulatory Roadshow will be held at The Entertainment Grounds at Gosford Race Club on 22 July. The event is expected to draw over 100 industry participants, aiming to strengthen connections between local businesses and government organisations.
Attendees will gain valuable insights from senior officials on a range of crucial topics, including licensing, policy, and compliance requirements. The forum will also highlight the NSW Government's ongoing initiatives to stimulate the state's night-time economy and outline support programs available to businesses.
Minister David Harris, who also serves as Minister for the Central Coast, emphasised the importance of the roadshow for the region. "This roadshow is an opportunity for us to hear from industry stakeholders about their experiences working in the hospitality sector on the Central Coast and how the NSW Government can make it easier for them to do business," Minister Harris stated.
He further highlighted Gosford and the broader Central Coast's rapid growth, noting its population of nearly 350,000. "Hospitality venues make a valuable contribution to the local community and the state's economy," he added, stressing that the roadshows are a vital platform for businesses to learn about support services, discuss issues, and forge new connections within the industry.
