🔥 Car Fire on M1 Pacific Motorway Impacts Ourimbah Northbound

Motorists travelling northbound on the M1 Pacific Motorway through Ourimbah faced disruptions today following a car fire incident.

The blaze, which occurred at 51 Pacific Highway, just past the Pacific Highway intersection in Ourimbah, prompted the closure of one northbound lane (Lane 3 of 3) to ensure public safety and allow emergency crews to work.

Fire and Rescue NSW personnel were quickly on the scene, successfully bringing the vehicle fire under control. Emergency services and Transport for NSW were also present to manage the incident and guide traffic.

Drivers passing through this section of the M1 in Ourimbah are advised to exercise caution and should anticipate potential delays as residual impacts clear. The incident was updated on July 12, 2025.
