🔥 Somersby: M1 Incidents Reported

Somersby residents experienced disruptions on the M1 Pacific Motorway today following two separate incidents attended by the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS).

The first incident, reported at 5:39 am on June 23rd, involved a motor vehicle accident. Fire crews responded to the scene, however, no fire was reported.

Shortly after, at 5:52 am, a truck fire was reported on the M1 in Somersby. The RFS quickly brought the blaze under control.

Both incidents occurred within the Central Coast Council area and are now listed as ‘under control’ according to the latest RFS report. Motorists are advised to exercise caution when travelling through the area.
