🚧 Silverwater Road Night Works: Expect Delays Near Auburn

Motorists in Auburn and surrounding areas who regularly travel along Silverwater Road should be aware of upcoming night roadworks that will impact traffic flow. Transport for NSW has advised of scheduled maintenance taking place on Silverwater Road, specifically between Simpson Street and Carnarvon Street in neighbouring Silverwater.

The works are set to occur nightly, commencing from Thursday evenings, between the hours of 11:00 PM and 5:00 AM. During these periods, traffic conditions will be altered, with alternating stop/slow arrangements in place to guide vehicles through the work zone one direction at a time. Furthermore, the traffic lights at the affected intersection will be switched to flashing yellow signals.

A reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be enforced for the safety of workers and motorists. Drivers are strongly advised to allow extra travel time when planning their journeys through this section of Silverwater Road, especially if travelling to or from Auburn during these late-night and early-morning hours. These essential road improvements are aimed at maintaining the integrity of the road network, but temporary disruptions are to be expected.
