Commuters travelling through Kogarah are facing significant train disruptions today following urgent repair work at Martin Place. Transport for NSW has issued an alert advising of changes to services on multiple lines, including those serving Kogarah.
The disruptions, caused by a technical issue, mean that trains may not be stopping at all scheduled stations, including Tempe, Arncliffe, Banksia, Rockdale, Kogarah, Carlton, and Allawah. Some services could also be diverted to different lines or depart from altered platforms.
Passengers are strongly advised to listen carefully to platform announcements, check electronic information screens, and utilise transport apps for the latest real-time service updates. Transport for NSW is working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
For more information on current transport conditions, visit the Transport for NSW website or app. Similar disruptions have been common in Sydney, with ongoing infrastructure upgrades impacting services across the network.
