🚨 MVA Incident on Wyee Road, Wyee Under Investigation
Residents of Wyee are experiencing the effects of recent adverse weather, with the New South Wales Rural Fire Service (RFS) actively responding to multiple incidents across the suburb.
As of late afternoon on July 1, 2025, RFS crews were dispatched to two separate locations within the Lake Macquarie council area to manage storm-related issues.
One incident was reported at 67 Forest Road, Wyee, where emergency services are currently on scene addressing issues related to flooding, storm damage, or fallen trees. This particular event does not involve fire and the RFS is the responsible agency.
Concurrently, another team is responding to similar conditions on Wyee Road, Wyee. This incident also involves flood, storm, or tree down issues, with no fire reported, and the RFS is managing the response.
Both locations are active scenes, with RFS personnel working to clear hazards and ensure public safety. Local residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and avoid affected areas while crews are on site.
