🚗 Two-Car Crash Shuts Longueville Road Westbound in Lane Cove

A two-car crash has caused significant traffic disruptions on Longueville Road in Lane Cove this morning, with emergency services currently on the scene. The incident, which occurred near the intersection with Kimberley Avenue, has resulted in the closure of two westbound lanes.

Transport for NSW has advised motorists to exercise extreme caution and reduce their speed when travelling through the area. Lanes 1 and 2 westbound are currently impacted, out of three lanes, causing immediate congestion for commuters in Lane Cove. Emergency services are attending to the incident.

Longueville Road is a key arterial route through Lane Cove and has been the focus of recent traffic management efforts. The Lane Cove Council initiated upgrades on sections of Longueville Road, including milling and re-sheeting, as recently as mid-2024, to improve road surfaces and manage traffic flow.
