Planned Roadwork to Affect M5 Motorway Traffic Near Casula

Motorists regularly using the M5 Motorway near Casula should prepare for upcoming night closures due to scheduled resurfacing work. Transport for NSW has advised of planned disruptions affecting westbound lanes between the Hume Highway and Beech Road in Liverpool.

The essential roadwork is set to take place over three consecutive nights, beginning on Tuesday and continuing through Wednesday and Thursday. Each night, road closures will be in effect from 9:30 pm until 5:00 am the following morning.

• A reduced speed limit of 40 kilometres per hour will be in place within the work zone.
• Drivers are advised to prepare to merge and expect delays during these hours.
• While sections of the road will be affected, motorists will still be able to pass through in one or more lanes.

Local residents and commuters travelling through the Casula area during these times are encouraged to plan their journeys accordingly and allow for additional travel time.
