🚗 Crash on Hume Highway in Casula causes delays
Youngies Long Day Care Centre in Casula has received an outstanding quality rating from the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).
The centre, located at 12 De Meyrick Avenue, was assessed across seven key areas: Educational program and practice, Children's health and safety, Physical environment, Staffing arrangements, Relationships with children, Collaborative partnerships with families and communities, and Governance and leadership. In a significant achievement, the centre received an "Exceeding National Quality Standard" rating in all but two categories.
Specifically, the center achieved an "Exceeding NQS" rating in educational program and practice, relationships with children, collaborative partnerships with families and communities, and governance and leadership. The "Meeting NQS" rating was achieved in Children's health and safety, and physical environment, and staffing arrangements.
This latest assessment marks a significant improvement from their previous evaluation in November 2019, which resulted in an overall rating of "Meeting NQS". The upgrade to an overall "Exceeding NQS" rating highlights the improvements made and is a testament to the dedication of the staff at Youngies.
With 36 approved places, Youngies Long Day Care Centre continues to be a valuable resource for Casula families. The centre was granted service approval on November 29, 2006, and remains a thriving part of the Casula community.
