Train commuters in and around Macksville are advised of new disruptions to XPT services following an incident involving a freight train.
Transport for NSW has issued an alert stating that a freight train currently blocking the rail line in the vicinity of Macksville has necessitated changes to passenger services.
As a result, the CLK34 XPT service will now see passengers travelling by road coaches between Casino and Taree. Once passengers reach Taree, they will then transfer to an XPT train to complete the remainder of their journey.
Travellers are encouraged to account for potential delays and plan their trips accordingly due to this unexpected alteration to the service.
