Transport for NSW has issued an alert regarding a significant disruption to rail services near Macksville, impacting passengers travelling on the XPT line.
Due to an unexpected rail line closure in the vicinity of Macksville, the XPT service from Brisbane to Taree will now be replaced by road coaches. Passengers boarding this service will travel by coach to Taree, where they will then transfer to the XPT train to continue the remainder of their journey.
This alteration, identified as CLK32, means travellers should anticipate changes to their usual itinerary. Passengers are encouraged to plan accordingly and allow extra travel time for this revised arrangement.
