Wallsend motorists are facing significant delays following a multi-vehicle crash on Newcastle Road at its intersection with Diana Street. The incident, reported by Transport for NSW, has led to lane closures in both directions.

On the westbound side of Newcastle Road, Lane 2 is currently closed to traffic, impacting one of the two available lanes. Meanwhile, on the eastbound carriageway, Lane 1 is also shut, affecting one of three lanes.
