**The Art of Comedy Comes to Orange**

Orange is set to host a unique comedy experience with Andrew Hamilton's show, "Jokes About the Time I Went to Prison." The performance is scheduled for August 1st, 2025, at a venue located at 231-243 Anson Street in Orange.

Hamilton, recognised as a Best Newcomer Nominee at the 2023 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, draws on personal experiences for his material. His show explores his four-month stay in two of Sydney's maximum-security correctional facilities in 2021, following his conviction for the supply of psychedelic drugs.

The comedian has described his time in prison as an unexpectedly positive experience, which forms the basis of his performance. Attendees can expect a humorous yet insightful look into a period of his life that many would find challenging.
