🔫 Police Seek Witnesses After Port Macquarie Shooting Incident

Detectives are seeking information from the public after shots were fired during a home invasion in Port Macquarie last month. The incident occurred in the early hours of Friday, 17 October 2025, when police were alerted to reports of multiple offenders entering a property on Park Street.

During the home invasion, the intruders confronted a 26-year-old man, and shots were subsequently fired by the offenders before they fled the scene. Fortunately, the 26-year-old man did not sustain any physical injuries during the terrifying ordeal.

Officers from the Mid North Coast Police District have established Strike Force Swayman to thoroughly investigate the matter. As part of their inquiries, police have released a CCTV image of a silver SUV seen in the vicinity of Park Street around the time of the incident.

Investigators are particularly keen to speak with the driver of this vehicle, or anyone who has information regarding its movements.

This incident follows a series of ongoing crime concerns in the region, with police continually working to ensure community safety.
