๐Ÿšจ Man Arrested in Mount Druitt Stabbing Investigation

An 18-year-old man has been taken into custody in connection with an alleged stabbing that occurred in Sydney's west earlier this week. The arrest was made by detectives from Strike Force Leeman, an investigation established by Mount Druitt Police Area Command.

The incident unfolded around 5:15 PM on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, when emergency services were called to a shopping centre on Carlisle Avenue in Mount Druitt. Reports indicated a group of men were involved in a fight. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 17-year-old boy and a 22-year-old man had sustained stab wounds during the alleged affray.

Both victims received immediate treatment from NSW Ambulance paramedics at the scene before being transported to hospital. They currently remain in a stable condition.

Following the establishment of a crime scene, Strike Force Leeman detectives commenced their thorough investigation. Their inquiries led to the arrest of an 18-year-old man at approximately 4:00 PM today, Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at a residence on Rooty Hill Road in North Rooty Hill.
