Officers from The Hills Police Area Command were called to Sexton Avenue in Castle Hill about 7am on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, after reports of an altercation involving up to 50 people. Police were informed the fight involved two distinct groups, with most individuals dispersing before officers arrived on the scene.

NSW Ambulance paramedics attended the site, treating two men, aged 43 and 55, for minor injuries. Both were subsequently taken to Westmead Hospital for further assessment and have since been released.

Following ongoing investigations, two men, aged 22 and 44, were arrested at Castle Hill Police Station around 11am on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. It is understood the 44-year-old faces charges of intimidation and affray, while the 22-year-old has been charged with intimidation, affray, and assault. Both were granted conditional bail and are scheduled to appear before Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.

Police are continuing their efforts to identify several other individuals who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
