🚨 Brawl Update: Two in Custody After Castle Hill Works
Police have laid further charges in connection with a large-scale brawl that erupted in Castle Hill earlier this week, with a third man now facing court.
The incident occurred around 7am on Tuesday, 24 June 2025, when officers from The Hills Police Area Command responded to reports of a significant altercation involving over 20 people on Sexton Avenue, Castle Hill. Initial reports indicated two distinct groups, both wearing high-visibility and construction attire, were involved. By the time police arrived, most individuals had dispersed from the scene.
NSW Ambulance paramedics attended and treated two men, aged 43 and 55, for minor injuries at the location before they were transported to Westmead Hospital for further medical attention.
Following ongoing inquiries, a 28-year-old man was arrested at Castle Hill Police Station at approximately 11:15am today, Thursday, 26 June 2025. He has been charged with affray and was granted conditional bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday, 23 July 2025.
This latest development follows the earlier arrests of two men, aged 42 and 22, who were charged after the initial incident. The 42-year-old faces charges of intimidation and affray, while the 22-year-old was charged with intimidation, affray, and assault. Both were previously granted conditional bail and are scheduled to appear before Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday, 16 July 2025.
Detectives confirm that inquiries into the brawl are continuing.
