🚧 Warringah Fwy Southbound Closures Impact Artarmon

Motorists in Artarmon and surrounding areas are being advised of significant planned traffic changes affecting the Warringah Freeway and Gore Hill Freeway southbound lanes this weekend.

As part of the ongoing Warringah Freeway Upgrade, a full southbound closure will be in effect from Friday at 10:30pm until 6:00am on Saturday. This extensive closure will impact the Gore Hill Freeway and Warringah Freeway between the Pacific Highway and Ernest Street, directly affecting travel through Artarmon.

Impacted Routes and Diversions

The closure includes vital access points such as the Lane Cove Tunnel, as well as several southbound on-ramps: Longueville Road (Epping Road), Pacific Highway, Reserve Road, Willoughby Road, Brook Street, and Miller Street.

Drivers will still be able to use the Falcon Street (Military Road) southbound on-ramp for access to the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Harbour Tunnel. For those travelling from the Lane Cove Tunnel or Longueville Road (Epping Road), the recommended diversion is to take the Pacific Highway exit southbound and continue on Pacific Highway to Falcon Street.
