🚚 Mascot: General Holmes Drive Truck Breakdown Cleared

Mascot motorists experienced disruptions on General Holmes Drive recently following a truck breakdown near Foreshore Road. The incident, which has now been cleared, affected northbound traffic flow, leading to significant lane closures.

According to Transport for NSW, two of the four northbound lanes on General Holmes Drive were closed at the Foreshore Road intersection due to the breakdown. Emergency services and Transport for NSW personnel were dispatched to the scene to manage the situation and assist with the removal of the vehicle.

During the period of disruption, drivers travelling through the Mascot area were advised to reduce their speed and exercise caution when approaching the affected section of road. The prompt response by authorities ensured that the incident was resolved swiftly, with all lanes now reopened and traffic flow returning to normal in Mascot.
