A road rage incident on Camden Valley Way in Leppington has resulted in charges for a 24-year-old man after he allegedly struck another motorist with his vehicle. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, 19 October 2025.
Emergency services were called to the scene at approximately 12:45 AM following reports that a person had been hit by a car. Officers from Camden Police Area Command arrived to find a 45-year-old man injured. NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man at the scene before he was transported to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.
The driver of the vehicle, a 24-year-old man, was arrested at the scene. Police allege he returned a positive result for cannabis in a mandatory roadside test. A subsequent search of his vehicle allegedly uncovered an amount of cannabis.
He has since been charged with predatory driving and possessing a prohibited drug. The man was granted conditional bail and is scheduled to appear at Picton Local Court on Thursday, 6 November 2025. Camden Valley Way is a significant arterial road in the region, and such incidents highlight the importance of road safety and responsible driving practices within the Leppington community.
