👮‍♂️ Fourth Man Charged in Bankstown Shooting Case

A fourth man has been charged in connection with an alleged shooting incident in Bankstown.

On February 7, 2025, police responded to reports of a 17-year-old boy who had been shot in the leg at Bankstown Hospital.

The 18-year-old man accompanying the victim was arrested and charged with related offences. Police located and examined a spent cartridge at a park in Punchbowl.

Subsequent investigations led to search warrants being executed in Greenacre.

During a search of a home on Wilbur Street, a loaded firearm, cocaine, MDMA, and cash were seized. An 18-year-old man was arrested and charged with firearms offences.

On May 30, a 19-year-old man was arrested at a correctional facility in Silverwater and charged with firearms offences.

Today, a 19-year-old man was apprehended at a home in Greenacre and charged with supplying drugs, possessing an unauthorized handgun, and dealing with criminal proceeds.

The suspect was refused bail and will appear in court tomorrow.
