🚧 Auburn Roadworks to Impact Local Commutes This Week

Motorists in Auburn are advised to anticipate traffic disruptions this week due to ongoing scheduled roadwork projects in the area.

Silverwater Road On-Ramp Closure

Drivers heading westbound on the M4 Motorway will encounter a closure of theSilverwater Road on-rampat Auburn. This essential maintenance work is scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights, commencing at 10:00 PM and reopening at 5:00 AM each morning.

Transport for NSW recommends using an alternative route, planning your journey in advance, and allowing extra travel time. A diversion is in place via Parramatta Road and Woodville Road to access the M4 Motorway.

Parramatta Road Resurfacing

Further disruptions are expected onParramatta Road in Auburn, specifically between Northumberland Road and Junction Street. Resurfacing work will affect both directions, with alternating stop/slow traffic conditions in place to facilitate passage.

This work will occur nightly from Sunday through Wednesday, 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM. On Thursday night, the work will begin slightly later at 10:30 PM, concluding at 5:00 AM.

A reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be enforced in the affected area. Motorists are urged to exercise caution and adhere to all signage during these times.
