🚨 Police Seek Man Wanted on Warrant, Frequents Merrylands
Three individuals are in police custody after a shooting incident occurred on Earl Street in Merrylands on Thursday morning.
The alarm was raised around 9:20 am when officers from Cumberland Police Area Command responded to reports of a shooting. Fortunately, no one was home at the time of the incident, and there were no injuries reported.
Following the shooting, a burnt-out Porsche was discovered in Beverley Crescent, Chester Hill. The suspects were later apprehended by police on McMahon Road in Yagoona as they attempted to flee on foot.
Crime scenes have been established at both the Merrylands and Chester Hill locations, and will undergo forensic examination. The investigation into the incident has been referred to Taskforce Falcon, a unit dedicated to suppressing violent crime across the Sydney metropolitan area.
