🚨 Teen Hit by Car in Merrylands

Appeal for Information Following Hit and Run

Police are investigating a hit and run incident that occurred on Monday, June 9th, at approximately 6pm at the intersection of Denmark and Ann Streets in Merrylands. A 16-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle and sustained injuries requiring transport to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. She is reported to be in a stable condition.

The driver of the vehicle did not stop at the scene. Investigators are particularly keen to speak with the driver of a black SUV believed to have been in the area at the time. They are appealing for any witnesses, particularly those with dashcam footage, to come forward.
