🚧 Marramarra National Park Trails Face Temporary Closure

Visitors and locals in Wisemans Ferry are advised of upcoming temporary closures within Marramarra National Park, affecting several popular walking and vehicle trails. Essential roadworks are set to commence from Tuesday, August 12, 2025, and are expected to continue for several weeks.

The affected trails include the Marramarra Ridge Trail, Marramarra Creek Trail, and Coba Ridge Trail, all located within the South Marramarra National Park area. During the works, which will run Monday to Friday between 7am and 5pm, visitors should anticipate a significant increase in heavy vehicle traffic and plant operations.

The National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) advises that trails will be periodically closed while work is underway. For the safety of all, it is crucial that visitors adhere strictly to all roadwork signage and follow directions given by staff on site. Non-compliance may result in penalties.

Those planning a stay at Marramarra Creek Campground during this period are encouraged to contact the local NPWS office to discuss access arrangements before their visit, as disruptions are possible due to the ongoing works.
