🚧 Roadworks Disrupt New Lambton Heights Traffic Nightly

Residents and commuters in New Lambton Heights are advised of ongoing planned roadworks on Lookout Road as part of the Rankin Park to Jesmond Inner City Bypass project. These works will impact traffic in both directions every night from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Additionally, changed traffic conditions will be in effect from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays and 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturdays. Drivers should anticipate delays and allow extra travel time when travelling through the affected areas. A reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be enforced, and motorists are urged to check signage for the latest updates.

Operators of oversize and/or overmass vehicles with specific dimensions are advised to contact the project team at least one day prior to their movement.
