⚠️ Harbour Bridge Bus Chaos Expected Sunday in North Sydney

Commuters in North Sydney are being urged to prepare for significant public transport disruptions this Sunday, August 3, as a public assembly will lead to the closure of the Sydney Harbour Bridge for buses.

From approximately 11 AM to 4 PM, no bus services will operate across the iconic bridge. This means all bus routes that typically traverse the Harbour Bridge will instead terminate at either North Sydney or Wynyard.

Transport for NSW has advised that several key routes, including 115, 120, 202, and 207 services, will be diverted and will miss their usual stops during this five-hour period. Passengers are strongly encouraged to consider delaying their travel plans or seeking alternative transport options.

Those who still need to travel should allow plenty of extra time for their journeys. Sydney Trains services are suggested as an alternative, however, travellers should be aware that crowding is anticipated at both North Sydney and Wynyard Stations due to the increased demand.

Further disruptions include scheduled trackwork on Metro services, which will not be running between Tallawong and Sydenham on Sunday. Passengers are advised to check the latest updates before travelling.
