🚧Planned Epping Road Upgrade: Night Works to Affect Traffic

Drivers in Epping are advised to anticipate disruptions due to planned night works commencing this week on Epping Road. The essential intersection upgrade at Pembroke Street will require temporary traffic changes and a reduced speed limit.

Transport for NSW has announced that the works will occur during evening hours, with traffic lights at the Epping Road and Pembroke Street intersection to be blacked out. Portable traffic lights will be on site to manage vehicle flow, allowing motorists to pass in one direction at a time. A 40 km/h speed limit will be in place for the safety of workers and road users.

The scheduled work periods include Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:30pm to 5:00am, and Thursdays from 10:30pm to 5:00am. These works will impact Epping Road between Essex Street and Vimiera Road in all directions.

Motorists are urged to exercise caution, adhere to the reduced speed limit, and pay close attention to all signage and directions from on-site personnel when travelling through the area during these times.
