🚨 Silverwater Man Charged in Organised Crime Vehicle Ring

A 21-year-old man has been formally charged following his arrest at a correctional centre in Silverwater yesterday, Monday 23 June 2025. The man is alleged to have been involved in stealing and supplying vehicles to organised criminal networks, including for an alleged kidnapping conspiracy.

Detectives from the NSW Police Force's Taskforce Falcon identified the man through ongoing inquiries. He is accused of direct involvement in providing a Haval vehicle for the kidnapping plot. Furthermore, police allege he stole a Bentley and a Rolls-Royce, valued at over $800,000, in March 2025. All three luxury vehicles have since been recovered.

The arrest forms part of the broader investigation by Taskforce Falcon, which was established in May 2025 to oversee multiple strike forces, including Strike Force Drever. Strike Force Drever began after three balaclava-clad men were seen fleeing a car in North Parramatta in February 2025. A subsequent search of that vehicle uncovered mobile phones, duct tape, flexi cuffs, and a baseball bat. Three other men have already been charged in relation to the alleged kidnapping conspiracy and remain before the courts.

The 21-year-old man arrested in Silverwater faces charges including aggravated break and enter to commit a serious indictable offence (in company, stealing over $60K), taking and driving a conveyance without consent, and receiving/disposing of stolen property (minor indictable offence over $5000). He was remanded in custody and appeared at Parramatta Local Court on the same day as his arrest.
