🕵️‍♀️ Investigation Continues After Tragic Discovery in Surry Hills

Police in Surry Hills are continuing their investigation following the tragic discovery of two men's bodies in a Cleveland Street home earlier this month.

Officers from Surry Hills Police Area Command were called to the residence around 2pm on Thursday, 3 July 2025, responding to a concern for welfare report.

Inside the house, the bodies of two men, aged 74 and 83, were found. Authorities have since identified both individuals.

Detectives believe the men passed away at different times over the past month. Importantly, their deaths are not considered suspicious at this stage of the investigation.

A 63-year-old woman who resides at the property has been interviewed by police as part of the ongoing inquiries. A report detailing the circumstances will now be prepared for the Coroner.
