🚨 Surry Hills Double Death: Not Suspicious, Men Identified

Authorities have provided an update on the investigation into the discovery of two deceased men at a home in Surry Hills, confirming their deaths are not believed to be suspicious.

Police from Surry Hills Area Command initially responded to a concern for welfare at a residence on Cleveland Street on Thursday, 3 July 2025, around 2pm. Inside, officers located the bodies of two men, aged 74 and 83.

The identities of both men have since been confirmed. It is understood that they passed away at the Surry Hills property at different times over the past month. Detectives have conducted interviews with a 63-year-old woman residing at the same address as part of their inquiries.

A report regarding the circumstances of their deaths will now be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
