🚌 Man Tragically Killed After Rouse Hill Bus Crash

A 54-year-old man has tragically died following a bus incident in Rouse Hill earlier this week. The incident, which occurred on Wednesday, 6 August 2025, prompted an immediate emergency response to NW Transit Way.

Emergency services were called to the scene around 12pm, where officers from The Hills Police Area Command found a pedestrian had been struck by a bus. The man received initial treatment from NSW Ambulance paramedics before being transported to Westmead Hospital with serious injuries.

Police have confirmed that the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries and passed away in hospital around 10pm on Thursday, 7 August 2025. The driver of the bus was reportedly uninjured in the incident.

Authorities have commenced a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash and will be preparing a report for the coroner. Inquiries are ongoing as police work to determine the full details of what occurred.
