πŸ₯ Rouse Hill Hospital: Public invited to view early works plans

The community in Rouse Hill is being invited to review and provide feedback on the initial planning application for the new $910 million Rouse Hill Hospital. This milestone marks a significant step towards the construction of the much-anticipated healthcare facility.

Residents can also contribute to a survey aimed at shaping the design of the hospital's comprehensive maternity and birthing services. Both the NSW and Commonwealth governments are backing the project with a total investment of $910 million to meet the increasing healthcare demands of northwest Sydney.

Community Information Sessions and Feedback

To facilitate community engagement, information sessions will be held where locals can meet the project team and learn more about the hospital's development. The Early Works Review of Environmental Factors (REF) and related technical documents are currently on public exhibition, with feedback accepted until 11:59 pm on 29 August 2025.

The planning and design phase is actively underway, with a particular focus on the comprehensive birthing and maternity services. A new survey is available online for community members and healthcare staff to voice their opinions, ensuring these services meet the needs of those they will serve.

A State Significant Development Application for the main construction works is anticipated to be exhibited later this year. Further details about the Rouse Hill Hospital project can be found on its official website.

Minister for Health, Ryan Park, highlighted the importance of this stage, stating, "This next important step highlights the Minns Labor Government’s commitment to get on with the job and progress with the construction of new $910 million Rouse Hill Hospital." Federal Member for Greenway, Michelle Rowland, added, "I encourage locals to have their say."
