🎨 Chatswood Welcomes Monthly Concourse Artisan Markets

Chatswood is set to further cement its reputation as a vibrant cultural hub with the launch of the Monthly Concourse Artisan Markets. Willoughby City Council is spearheading the initiative, bringing local artists and makers to The Concourse precinct on the third Sunday of every month.

These curated outdoor markets, running from 11am to 5pm, are designed to foster community spirit while showcasing quality local craftsmanship and entertainment. Mayor Tanya Taylor expressed her enthusiasm for the markets, highlighting them as a significant addition to Chatswood's burgeoning creative scene.

What to Expect at the Markets

  • A diverse range of high-quality arts, crafts, and accessories, including ceramics, handmade jewellery, unique fashion pieces, artisan soaps, and eco-friendly products.
  • Gourmet pre-packaged foods from local producers.
  • Live music performances, creating a lively atmosphere.
  • Family-friendly activities such as face painting.

Mayor Taylor encouraged residents and visitors to explore the unique offerings, meet local makers, and enjoy a relaxing day out. She noted the markets are an excellent complement to existing local favourites like the Chatswood Mall Market and Spring Street Market.

With thousands of people passing through The Concourse daily, the markets provide a fantastic platform for connecting local creatives with a broad customer base. Willoughby City Council is currently inviting applications from new stallholders, particularly those offering premium art, craft, wellness, and sustainable products, to join this exciting community event in Chatswood.
