🚗 Breakdown on Pacific Highway in Chatswood
Chatswood is gearing up for a spectacular spring as Willoughby City Council's highly anticipated Emerge Festival makes its return, promising a vibrant array of art, music, culture, and community events. Running from 1 September to 12 October 2025, the festival is set to deliver over 50 events showcasing local creativity and global cultures.
The centrepiece of the Emerge Festival is undoubtedly the Chatswood StreetFair, scheduled for Saturday 6 September. This massive street party will transform the Chatswood CBD into a buzzing hub of activity, featuring more than 150 market stalls, five entertainment stages, thrilling family rides, live performances, and a colourful community parade.
The parade, a much-loved highlight, will kick off at a new time of 2pm. Hundreds of community performers will embark on their journey from Chatswood Chase's entrance near Neridah Street, proceeding along Victoria Avenue, past The Concourse, and concluding on Anderson Street and Charlotte Lane near Westfield Chatswood.
Beyond the StreetFair, this year's Emerge Festival boasts an exciting program, including performances by the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra, the popular Live at Lunch concert series, diverse theatre productions, immersive art experiences, the cherished Matsuri Japan Festival, and the vibrant Hongkongers' Street Market, all taking place within Chatswood. Residents and visitors are encouraged to mark their calendars for this exciting local event.
