🎉 Emerge Festival Returns to Chatswood for Six Weeks of Culture

Chatswood is gearing up for a vibrant spring as the highly anticipated Emerge Festival, presented by Willoughby City Council, makes its grand return this September. Running from September 1 to October 12, 2025, the festival promises more than 50 events showcasing a diverse array of art, music, culture, and community activities.

The highlight of the festival calendar for Chatswood residents and visitors alike will be the much-loved Chatswood StreetFair, set to transform the Chatswood CBD into a bustling street celebration on Saturday, September 6, 2025. This flagship event is the largest on the festival schedule, featuring over 150 market stalls, five performance stages, family-friendly entertainment, live music, and a colourful community parade.

This year's StreetFair parade will kick off at a new time of 2 PM, embarking from the Chatswood Chase entrance near Neridah Street. Participants will weave their way along Victoria Avenue, passing The Concourse, before concluding their journey near Anderson Street and Charlotte Lane, close to Westfield Chatswood.

Beyond the StreetFair, the Emerge Festival program is packed with exciting events. Music lovers can look forward to the 'Live at Lunch' concert series and the 'Jazz at the Lounge' series. The festival also features engaging theatre performances, hands-on art experiences, the popular Matsuri Japan Festival, and the vibrant Hongkongers' Street Market. Chatswood will truly be the epicentre of cultural festivities throughout the six-week period.
