Wollongong Police are urgently appealing for public assistance to locate 24-year-old Tigerlily Cassidy, who has been reported missing from the Wollongong area since early October.
Tigerlily was last observed at Wollongong Hospital on Loftus Street, Wollongong, around 7pm on Tuesday, 7 October 2025. Wollongong Hospital is the largest of the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District's hospitals and serves as the region's tertiary referral centre. When she could not be contacted or found, officers from the Wollongong Police District were notified and immediately began inquiries into her whereabouts.
Serious concerns are held for Tigerlily's welfare, particularly as she requires ongoing medical treatment. She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 140cm tall, with a thin build and distinctive brown shaved hair. At the time she was last seen, she was wearing a dark hooded jumper, black pants, joggers, and carrying a black backpack.
Investigators believe Tigerlily may frequent both the Wollongong and Campbelltown areas. For context, Campbelltown is located approximately 50 to 57 kilometres north-west of Wollongong, a journey that typically takes around 45 minutes by car.
The NSW Police Force reminds the community that there is no mandatory 24-hour waiting period to report a person missing if there are genuine concerns for their safety or welfare; reports can be made at any police station as soon as concerns arise.
Anyone with information regarding Tigerlily Cassidy's whereabouts is urged to contact Wollongong Police Station directly or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or visit the Crime Stoppers website at https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au. All information is treated with the strictest confidence. The public is reminded not to report information via NSW Police social media pages.
