Local emergency services in Bega quickly brought an incident on East Street under control earlier today, ensuring the safety of residents.
The situation, which occurred at an address on East Street, Bega 2550, was officially categorised as an 'Assist Other Agency' operation by the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS). Importantly, the report confirmed that there was no fire involved in the incident.
Fire and Rescue NSW was the primary agency responsible for managing the event, which was updated as being under control as of 7:21 AM on 6 October 2025. The prompt response from emergency personnel ensured that the situation was resolved without further escalation in the Bega Valley council area.
Residents can be reassured that the area is now safe and the incident has been fully contained.
