🏥 Concerns Raised Over Bankstown Mental Health Facility

The Hon. Tania Mihailuk has expressed concerns regarding the future of Banks House, a vital mental health facility in Bankstown. Speaking in the Legislative Council, Ms. Mihailuk highlighted the importance of the 30-bed facility, which has served the community for many years.

Ms. Mihailuk emphasized the need for the government to prioritize the facility's future, particularly in light of the redevelopment of Bankstown hospital. She hopes the relevant Minister will address these concerns, as Banks House provides critical acute psychiatric assistance.

Ms. Mihailuk has announced plans to move a motion for more information regarding Banks House, stressing the significance of such facilities in south-west Sydney.
