⚠️ Yengo National Park: Fire, Baiting, and Road Warnings Issued
The Webbs Creek Ferry, a crucial transport link for residents and visitors in Wisemans Ferry, recently experienced a significant breakdown, causing considerable disruption for motorists.
The incident saw the ferry out of service in both directions, impacting travel between River Road and St Albans Road. The breakdown led to traffic delays and necessitated alternative travel arrangements for those needing to cross the Hawkesbury River.
Motorists were advised to utilise alternative routes during the service interruption. For eastbound travel, the recommended diversion was via St Albans Road, Settlers Road, Wisemans Ferry Road, and Old Northern Road, leading to River Road. Westbound traffic was advised to take River Road, Old Northern Road, Wisemans Ferry Road, and Settlers Road, returning to St Albans Road.
Commuters were urged to plan their journeys accordingly and allow for extra travel time to navigate the diversions around Wisemans Ferry.
