UPDATE: 🔥Austral Burn Off Under Control

An authorised burn off in Austral was reported to the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) this afternoon.

The incident, located on 170 Fifth Avenue, Austral 2179, was reported at 16:54 today, June 19th, 2025.

The RFS has confirmed the incident is now under control, with the fire size remaining at 0 hectares. The Liverpool Council area was notified.

Residents in the Austral area were initially advised to stay informed, however the situation is now stable. The RFS continues to monitor the area.
