A key part of the announcement will also include details of an upcoming Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) fixture, further highlighting the Oval's commitment to supporting and promoting women's sport within North Sydney.

The press conference, scheduled to take place at the Oval located at 2 Fig Tree Lane, North Sydney, is expected to be attended by several key figures. While confirmations are pending, attendees may include Councillor Zoë Baker, Mayor of North Sydney Council; Rachael Haynes, General Manager of Sydney Sixers; Greg Mail, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Cricket NSW; and a representative from Cricket Australia.
