Darlinghurst motorists are advised of upcoming scheduled roadwork set to impact Oxford Street, with nightly closures for resurfacing between Crown Street and West Street.

Transport for NSW has announced the essential maintenance will see both directions of Oxford Street affected from Sunday through to Thursday evenings. Works are generally scheduled to commence at 9:00pm, concluding by 5:00am the following morning. Please note that on Thursday, July 17, 2025, work will begin at 9:30pm, and specifically on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, commencement will be delayed until 11:30pm.

During these periods, a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be enforced. Traffic management will include contraflow conditions to allow vehicles to pass in both directions.
