🚧 Cleveland Street Roadworks to Cause Nightly Delays in Surry Hills

Drivers in Surry Hills are advised to plan ahead as scheduled roadwork will lead to nightly closures on Cleveland Street, affecting traffic between Marriott Street and Baptist Street in both directions.

Transport for NSW has announced that these essential works will take place from Monday to Wednesday, between 9:00pm and 5:00am. On Thursday nights, the closures will commence an hour later, from 10:00pm until 5:00am.

During these periods, contraflow traffic conditions will be implemented to allow vehicles to pass through the affected sections of Cleveland Street. Motorists are strongly urged to reduce their speed, pay close attention to roadside signage, and factor in additional travel time for their journeys through Surry Hills.
