🚧 Flinders Street Roadworks Cause Weekend Disruptions

Residents and commuters in Surry Hills are advised of significant traffic disruptions this weekend due to planned roadworks on Flinders Street. Transport for NSW has announced that the section of Flinders Street between South Dowling Street and Oxford Street will be closed in both directions from 9:00 PM Friday until 9:00 AM Sunday.

Motorists can expect contraflow traffic conditions to be in place to allow passage in both directions. Additionally, the traffic lights at the intersection will be switched to flashing yellow during the roadworks period. These works are scheduled to occur over the weekend, with specific Saturday work taking place on 18 October.
